With a little more attention to detail this could be a great little hotel. The brown stain on the skylight curtain was a bit of a turn off. A lot of street noise on the side we were on.

Nothing like we thought it will be. It was wayyy better. We had our own apt in a great area close to shopping and dining. Looooved it and will highly recommend

The location is excellent. The restaurant ‘Veranda’ under the hotel also. I thought I was booking with a proper hotelier but the experience was more like an unorganized DYI Air B&B property. Well overpriced for what it is I could have booked a proper hotel. Cleaning is an extra $35 a day and late or early checkout is extra $75. There is no actual concierge or even a remote person to get ahold of in a timely fashion. There is no where to drop luggage until check in so we had to pay another off site service neat the basilica to hold our bags for several hours the first day then we had to trudge them though cobblestones to get them to the hotel at check in. The room clean but is not like the pictures online. Don’t go thinking you’re going to get a full kitchen with an island. Our ‘upgraded’ room from studio double bed to studio queen was tiny. The room decor and layout looks like a DYI IKEA project. The layout is odd and non functional. The TV is perpendicular to the bed so if you want to watch it you have to sit on a tiny uncomfortable cheaply built love seat smushed against a cafe table that is meant to be your eating area. Instead of dresser they chose to furnish tarea under the tv with a short empty useless AV console There is a closet at the entry that is 3/4 full with a hot water heater The shower is opposite the toilet so getting in is not ideal Microwave has no outlet Window has no curtain- no privacy Light dimmability is poor could go on but word count
